Our retail outlet stocks publications, CD's, DVD's etc. of County Leitrim interest. Books are often produced in conjunction with the celebration of school runions, church re-dedications etc. and these contain a lot of photos and articles about the local area. They are often produced in small quantites and would only have been available locally at the time of the event. In quite a few cases we now stock the last remaining volumes. Old Crafts & Customs of Ireland DVD
Throughout the 1990s we filmed the last exponents of many crafts, customs and traditions. Traditions have survived longer in the small-farming border counties of Leitrim, Cavan, Fermanagh and Roscommon and it was in this area that we captured on video many treasured traditional crafts. We have produced, for sale, a compilation DVD with extracts from many of these hours of tapes which show many craftsmen in action, some of whom are the very last practitioners of their skills in the entire region. The DVD features trades like, Tinsmith, Blacksmith, Cooper, Miller, Wheelwright, Creelmaker. A DVD of each individual craft is also available.
